ODeCon engineering GmbH, based in Kaiserslautern, is a leading provider in the field of additive manufacturing technologies and special machine construction.

One of our mainstays is the development and manufacture of high-precision metal 3D printers based on laser cladding technology. This technology enables the efficient production of metal components with the highest precision.

Our second pillar is special-purpose machines and high-speed assembly machines for a wide variety of series processes. We leverage synergies from additive manufacturing, such as laser technology. This means we always offer our customers state-of-the-art systems that are often ahead of the curve.

ODeCon was founded in 2005 by Oliver Schulte, an experienced industrial engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in specialty mechanical engineering, robotics, and laser technology. His expertise forms the foundation of our company and drives our innovative strength.

After initially focusing on product design, plastics engineering, and tool and fixture construction, the first custom machine was developed and built in 2013. This marked the birth of the ODeCon ecosystem, which today includes over 300 partner companies and specialists. With this expertise, ODeCon can handle even the largest projects despite its lean and efficient organization.
